Barnard Yu is the Associate Medical Director at Amgen Taiwan, where he is focused on enhancing medical affairs performance and capabilities. With his previous stints at Roche Taiwan and Novartis Taiwan, Barnard possesses more than eight years of medical affairs experience under his belt, including both people and portfolio management spanning across multiple therapeutic areas covering both general and specialty medicines.
He embraces continuous learning and growth mindset as his core philosophies at work. Outside of work, Barnard is a father of three children who enjoys spending time with family and friends, and cherishes moments for a good read or movie when he has time to himself.
Barnard earned his M.D. from the Boston University School of Medicine and underwent residency training in Diagnostic & Interventional Imaging at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and obtained his Bachelor degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
